چکیده

NAC (NAM, no apical meristem, ATAF and CUC) is one of the largest gene families plant-specific transcription factors (TF). TFs have immense involvement in plant growth developmental processes particular importance enhancing resistance to multiple abiotic stresses. members unique structural makeup a range biological activities. Despite their enormous roles plants, comprehensive study on identification, characterization expression profiling NACs under stress lacking Lowland bamboo [Oxytenanthera abyssinica (A.Rich) Munro]. Thus, this aimed identify members, characterize protein properties, construct phylogenetic relationships more importantly, establish stress. From stress-induced transcriptome, 220 lowland with intact complete DNA binding domains (PF01849) were identified. Following analysis functional annotation, characterization, conducted. The presented up-regulation 142 unigenes response stress, association 26 directly 92 genetic information processing 29 environmental according KEGG analysis. These results suggest most likely adaptation. As species best survived moisture-stressed environment, has provided valuable that could shed light further research efforts aiming exploit developing stress-resilient related plants.

Transcriptome-Wide Identification and Expression Analysis of the NAC Gene Family in Tea Plant [Camellia sinensis (L.) O. Kuntze]

In plants, the NAC (NAM-ATAF1/2-CUC) family of proteins constitutes several transcription factors and plays vital roles in diverse biological processes, such as growth, development, and adaption to adverse factors. Tea, as a non-alcoholic drink, is known for its bioactive ingredients and health efficacy. Currently, knowledge about NAC gene family in tea plant remains very limited. In this study...

Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of the IQD gene family in moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis).

Members of the plant-specific IQ67-domain (IQD) protein family are involved in various aspects of normal plant growth and developmental processes as well as basal defence response. Although hundreds of IQD proteins have been identified, only a small number of IQDs have been functionally characterized. Moreover, no systematic study has been performed on moso bamboo. In this study, we performed f...

Identification and Expression Analysis of Two Arabidopsis LRR-Protein Encoding Genes Responsive to Some Abiotic Stresses

AbstractTwo Arabidopsis thaliana genes, psr9.2 and psr9.4 appearedto be highly similar to a phosphate-starved induced gene,psr9, isolated from Brassica nigra suspension cells.Sequence analysis classified the encoded polypeptides asmembers of leucine-rich repeat (LRR) proteins superfamily. The sequence of psr9 proteins comprise a unique N-terminalregion e...

Genome-Wide Identification and Expression Profiling of Tomato Hsp20 Gene Family in Response to Biotic and Abiotic Stresses

The Hsp20 genes are involved in the response of plants to environment stresses including heat shock and also play a vital role in plant growth and development. They represent the most abundant small heat shock proteins (sHsps) in plants, but little is known about this family in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum), an important vegetable crop in the world. Here, we characterized heat shock protein 20 ...

Genome-wide Analysis of Phosphoenolpyruvate Carboxylase Gene Family and Their Response to Abiotic Stresses in Soybean

Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC) plays an important role in assimilating atmospheric CO2 during C4 and crassulacean acid metabolism photosynthesis, and also participates in various non-photosynthetic processes, including fruit ripening, stomatal opening, supporting carbon-nitrogen interactions, seed formation and germination, and regulation of plant tolerance to stresses. However, a compr...
